Nature-Grown.
Carefully Preserved.
From naturally occurring Indian Minor Forest Produce to high-purity TamaGum™ Tamarind Seed Xyloglucan — with documented custody at every stage.
“At Roshita Industries, the story of TamaGum begins long before extraction and purification.”
It begins with tamarind — a long-lived perennial tree deeply rooted in India’s forest and rural landscapes — and with the seed contained within its fruit.
Our integrated supply relationship with Chhaya Industries allows us to follow this raw material from tamarind seed through protected storage and Purified Tamarind Kernel Powder manufacturing, and finally to its transformation into TamaGum — Tamarind Seed Xyloglucan — at Roshita Industries.
By controlling custody prior to factory intake, we guarantee complete botanical identity preservation, zero chemical contamination during storage, and standardized polysaccharide consistency.
Preserved under protected infrastructure at Chhaya Industries.
Zero fumigation, insecticides, or fungicides applied during storage.
Four Credentials.
One Raw Material Journey.
Minor Forest Produce of India
Tamarindus indica • Government-Recognized
Tamarind (Tamarindus indica) is a hardy, long-lived perennial tree deeply rooted in India’s forest and rural terrains.
“Naturally Occurring. Indian Origin. Government-Recognized.”
Organic by Character — Certification by Evidence
NPOP Wild-Harvest Pathway • Documented Proof
The natural sourcing characteristics of tamarind make it particularly relevant to organic and wild-harvest supply chains.
“Nature provides the foundation. Certification provides the proof.”
Non-GMO Heritage & Identity Preservation
GEAC Unlisted • Naturally Derived Lineage
Tamarind is not among the genetically modified crops currently listed or approved by India’s Genetic Engineering Appraisal Committee (GEAC).
“Naturally Derived. Identity Preserved.”
Protected from the Seed Stage
7,000 MT Silos • Zero Chemical Treatment
Before processing, tamarind seeds are handled by our sister concern and raw-material partner: Chhaya Industries.
“Protected by infrastructure — not by chemical treatment.”
Two Companies.
One Controlled Value Chain.
This integrated relationship gives us greater visibility over the identity, handling, and processing history of the principal raw material entering Roshita Industries.
CHHAYA INDUSTRIES
Operates approximately 7,000 MT of dedicated tamarind seed silo storage capacity. Raw seeds are preserved under protected conditions with zero chemical fumigation, insecticides, or fungicides. Decorticates and mills seeds to manufacture Purified TKP.
ROSHITA INDUSTRIES
Purified Tamarind Kernel Powder is refined using Roshita’s proprietary aqueous tamarind seed xyloglucan technology to isolate pure polysaccharide chains. The resulting ingredient is standardized into high-purity food and industrial hydrocolloid grades.
Five Dimensions of Quality Assurance
Standardized control parameters verified across the entire chain of custody.
Naturally Originated.
Carefully Protected.
Traceable by Design.
From Tamarind Seed to TamaGum™ — with visibility and documented proof at every step of the journey.
Recognition as Minor Forest Produce does not itself constitute organic certification. Organic and non-GMO claims should be applied in accordance with the certification, documentation, testing, and regulatory requirements applicable to the specific product and supply chain.
